"Beta Design Office and Conran & Partners have teamed up to create the Bark House, an innovative dog house made entirely from cork, a sustainable material derived from tree bark. The material was carefully chosen to have a positive impact on both the environment and person's best friend.
The design is a stripped-back take on a gingerbread house with fairytale charm. The soft curves create an inviting space while still implementing contemporary aesthetics. A hidden detail in the Bark House is a ball chute seamlessly integrated into the chimney. Lightweight and hypoallergenic, cork is gentle on paws, resists mould, ensuring a healthy, low-maintenance space. Harvested sustainably without harming cork oak trees, cork contributes to carbon capture, making it an environmentally responsible choice".
