Design Information
CONSTRUCTION NOTES:
- Collarless jacket with a closed round neck
- Fitted body with ¾ sleeves
- Cape with a box pleat at the back starting from back yoke
- Tailored trousers sitting close to the body around the thighs and flaring out softly towards the hem.
EMBROIDERY DETAILS:
A rich red tonal embroidery consisting of 3D silk crepe orchids and petals encrusted with red beads, loops of bullion, crystal faceted beads and red alabaster xillions to highlight the intricate 3D fabric manipulation.
- Embroidery uses over 3,000 hand-bound red burnt ostrich feathers and over 45,000 crystals created in over 900 hours
HOURS OF WORK:
It took 5 couturiers and artisans over 300 hours for the making of this look.
