Elliott Mickleburgh (b. 1990, Seattle) is an artist and writer based in London. Recent group exhibitions include LAS Invites at LAS Gallery and Votive at Hypha HQ, both galleries in London. Mickleburgh presented the solo exhibition XX.XX.XX (Under the Scene) in 2021 at the Salzburger Kunstverein upon winning the SpallArt Prize the previous year. His essays on contemporary art have been published both in print and online with journals such as Testudo, THE SEEN, and Notes on Metamodernism. Emerging from these writings, Mickleburgh has also given lectures on contemporary art and philosophy to both undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Oxford, the Royal College of Art, and the Universität für Angewandte Kunst Wien. Mickleburgh holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a minor in Visual Critical Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Master of Arts in Photography from the Royal College of Art in London.
