Olmo Ríos is an artist focused on bringing art back to its core romantic value— beauty and nothing else. A self-taught visual artist, Rios does not like limiting his techniques to one medium. He works with watercolors, acrylics, spray paint, and stencils and has now taken on screen printing and photography as one of his main forms of creating art.
Inspired by artists like Lichtenstein, Warhol, Haring, Jeff Koons, Damien Hirst, Russell Young, KAWS, Greg Guillemin, D.O.C and Rich Simmons, Olmo is well aware that he stands on the shoulders of giants and knows that the works he creates are built upon the achievements of the great artists he admires.
