A Berlin topographical cabinet cup and saucer, circa 1823-1832

The cup decorated with a rural view of a hamlet reserved in gilt borders and a band of ligated, stylised wheat sheafs in gilt to the top, the parcel gilt interior and beaded handle, the base and foot in burnished gilt. The saucer painted with a sycamore wreath to the well and ligated, stylised wheat sheaf motif to edge of border in gilt, the cup: 11.1 cm high, the saucer: 14.8 cm diam., sceptre mark in underglaze-blue and brown-red Prussian eagle with "KPM" stamp to both, various incised and impressed numerals to both, (2)
