Four Berlin cups and saucers, circa 1785

Vasenförmig mit Stäben, each with moulded ribs below gilt swags on a green-ground band to the rims, two cups with a silhouette portrait facing dexter on a pink ground, depicting the Holy Roman Emperor, Joseph II, and Friedrich Wilhelm II of Prussia, the saucers inscribed 'Le/ bien aimé' and 'IOSEPH:II/ ROM:IMP:SA.', respectively; the other two cups with a silhouette bust to dexter of a lady and a gentleman on a yellow ground, the saucers with gilt and foliate monograms 'TCS' and 'BS', the saucers:13.6cm diam.; the cups: 7cm high, sceptre marks in underglaze-blue, impressed numerals, one cup and saucer (with Friedrich Wilhelm II) with 3 in purple (some minor wear) (8)
