A Vienna cabinet cup and saucer, circa 1814

The cup painted by Wihelm Draskowitz with a gilt-edged rectangular panel with a view of Mariazell, titled in black on the foot 'Vue de l'eglise et du/ pélezinage de Marie Zell/ dans la Styrie.', against a band if gilt floral motifs reserved on a lustre ground painted with white flowers, the saucer similarly decorated, the saucer: 13.3cm diam.; the cup: 6cm high, shield marks in underglaze-blue, impressed 813 and 6 (cup) and 814 and 46 (saucer), painter's number 20 in black to both (2)
