a studio portrait of a model in a costume designed by Beaton for Noël Coward's Look After Lulu!, which premiered on Broadway in 1959;
a later portrait of Ernest Thesiger (1879-1961) in profile;
a studio portrait of Ruth Gordon as the titular role of Serena Blandish, circa 1929;
one of the last studio portraits of Lillie Langtry (1853-1929), circa 1928; and another of Francesca Annis (b.1945), who played Langtry in the 1975 TV drama Edward the Seventh, and again in the 1979 Lillie;
two further studio portraits of Gladys Cooper (1888-1971) and Nyree Dawn Porter (1936-2001);
three portraits of Evelyn Laye (1900-1996);
a portrait of the playwright, screenwriter and author Anita Loos (1888-1981);
another of the ballerina Ninette de Valois (1898-2001);
