An impressive George IV silver four-light candelabra

London 1825, probably William Elliot
After a design by Paul de Lamerie, with three scrolling foliate and acanthus leaf branches leading to removable eagle sconces with nozzles and drip-trays, the central light with eagle wing and floral knopped stem with removeable spread eagle finial, this above the main stem partly formed as an eagle with lion masks leading to a shaped base with scrolled outline and with lion, dolphin and dragon decoration, height 66.5cm, weight 237.5oz.
