The four earlier yew chairs with pierced vase shaped splats, on projecting ring turned legs, with stretchers, some variations in the proportions, the ash chair: 58cm wide x 48cm deep x 97cm high; the largest yew wood example: 58cm wide x 46cm deep x 91cm high, (22 1/2in wide x 18in deep x 35 1/2in high) (5)
