A Dutch second quarter or mid-18th century walnut, featherbanded and fruitwood marquetry chest

1730-1760
Of slightly bombe form, inlaid with assorted flowers, acanthus and stylised foliage, the top and sides inlaid with floral-filled bouquets, an urn replete with flowers, birds and butterflies, with boxwood strung tablet surrounds and four long graduated oak lined drawers, 87cm wide x 52cm deep x 85.5cm high, (34in wide x 20in deep x 33 1/2in high)
