An English panelled oak table casket
Probably late 16th/early 17th century and later
The hipped hinged lid with sliding top revealing a central well, and opening to a further vacant well, the front with central vertical iron lockplate flanked by applied moulded uprights, the panelled fall front with iron hinges revealing an arrangement of a central larger drawer flanked by two pairs of shallow drawers, all within moulded borders and with turned knop handles, on moulded footed base, with later key, 39cm high, 38cm wide, 24cm deep
