The first painted to the obverse paper and silk gauze leaf with two panels depicting musicians and dancers in 18th century dress within further formalised Neoclassical style floral garland and basket panels with spangled borders, the reverse similarly painted with flowers, the gilded and silvered sticks and guardsticks with pierced oval foliate panel decoration, the second painted to the paper leaf to the obverse with four 18th century style figural landscape cartouches allegorical of the seasons, signed Van Garden, the reverse with sparse flowers and foliage, the sticks and guardsticks with pierced and silvered and gilded panels decoration, the last with a painted paper leaf, decorated to the obverse with ladies and gentleman in a garden setting flanked by flowers and scrolls, the rear with a garden fountain, the silvered and gilded pierced sticks with cusped plain cartouche decoration, the guardsticks with flowers and scrolls, The first, 22cm high, 43cm wide, the second 24cm high, 46cm wide, the
