The lace dolls fan with gilt decorated sticks and guards, the glazed gilt case on pedestal stand, the other dolls fans in horn, wood and mother of pearl with painted and printed leaves, the four small brisé horn fans all with elaborately pierced sticks, two with floral panelled/banded border decoration, another with figural decoration of a two courtly group in 18th century dress, the last decorated y to the obverse with three panels depicting three gentleman looking into shop windows, the central figure looking into the window of a fan shop, the reserve showing the windows from inside showing the same gentlemen looking in to interior scenes with ladies making or buying fans, The lace dolls fan, 5cm high, 10cm wide, the case, 14cm high, 13cm wide, the other dolls fans of smaller sizes, the largest brisé fans, 16cm high, 30cm wide, the others of slightly smaller size (13)
