A Victorian silver two-handled trophy bowl

Robert Hennell IV, London 1874
Compressed form, with flared rim, the body flanked by two cast naturalistic horse heads, each with part marks, the body embossed and chased with laurel garland decoration, terminating to two vacant circular cartouches to each side, raised on a stepped spreading foot, with repeated laurel garland decoration, with gilt interior, the whole on ebonised wooden plinth with applied silver plaque reading:
