The first with velum leaf decorated to the obverse with a classical scene depicting Janus, flanked by further figures within an elaborate landscape, the reverse with putti within a river landscape, the elaborate carved and pierced sticks with gilt tooled classical figural decoration, the guard sticks with contemporary figural panels depicting peasants and rustic figures, the sticks to the reverse with polychrome figural decoration, and with diamond set rivet and yellow metal loop, the second fan similarly with vellum leaf decorated to the obverse with scenes of Europa and the bull, the reverse with a shepherd and shepherdess, the sticks, with elaborate carved and pierced gilt silvered classical figural cartouches within trellis work, the guard sticks with floral enamel panels, and paste set rivet, the final fan similarly with velum leaf decorated with a classical scene of Paris bestowing the apple to Venus, Juno and Athena, within floral border, the reverse with Mercury and a shepherd, the sticks carved and pierced and gilded with delicate cartouches with figures and putti within floral trellis borders, the reverse with floral polychrome decoration with a red paste set rivet, the first 30cm high, 53cm wide, the second 30cm x 52cm, the third 29cm x 52cm (3)
