A Restauration or Charles X ormolu mounted Vernis Martin, Chinese lacquer and ebony meuble d'appui

1820-1830
The main central and side panels decorated with assorted figures, pagodas, trees, boats and a bridge within rural and mountainous landscapes, encompassed by ripple moulded surrounds, the marble top above a bead-embedded guilloche edge mount, with an alternating acanthus and lotus leaf mounted cornice below, over one long frieze drawer configured as two panels decorated with repeating exotic birds, flowers and trees, the cedar lined frieze drawer with a central lock concealed by a pharaoh bust, above a bead-and-reel edge moulding, with a panelled door below interspersed by mounts each comprised of addorsed palmettes centred with a rosette, enclosing a walnut lined interior with two adjustable shelves, flanked by palmette, husk and stylised foliate mounted angles, on a plinth base, 91.5cm wide x 48.5cm deep x 117cm high, (36in wide x 19in deep x 46in high)
