A George II burr walnut, walnut and featherbanded kneehole desk

1730-1740
The quarter veneered top with an ovolo moulded edge and re-entrant front angles, above one long oak lined frieze drawer, enclosing five compartments of various proportions, over six short oak lined drawers flanking a door to the kneehole recess, enclosing one shelf, on shaped bracket feet, 79.5cm wide x 50cm deep x 75cm high, (31in wide x 19 1/2in deep x 29 1/2in high)
