A 19th century Chinese export lacquered gaming box ogether with a set of thirty two Chinese export red and black lacquered counters and a pair of lacquered dice shakers

The box with chess board to the folding top, the sides with flowering foliage, rock-work, bamboo and palling fence work, the interior with a backgammon board, the counters of plain turned form, sixteen lacquered black and sixteen lacquered red, together with an additional black counter, the box 8cm high, 38cm wide, 20cm deep unfolded
