A small walnut and featherbanded bureau on stand

Apparently fundamentally George I period (1710-1725), but the upper bureau section and stand are possibly associated
The hinged fall enclosing four short drawers, three pigeon holes, one secret drawer and a central well with a sliding top, with lopers below, on a stand comprised of one long frieze drawer, on shaped lappet headed cabriole legs terminating in pad feet, with a Hague Collection sticker to its interior, restorations, 62cm wide x 42cm deep x 88cm high, (24in wide x 16 1/2in deep x 34 1/2in high)

The offered lot was formerly part of the Hague Collection.
It was subsequently sold, as part of the Hague Collection, Sotheby's, London, 21 June 1961.
