This pair of gold basket-shaped earrings is crafted from solid gold using traditional techniques including hammering, chiseling, openwork, and filigree. The overall design resembles a floral basket, with intricate details featuring natural elements like vines and leaves. These elements vividly recreate the woven texture of a real basket and the dynamic rhythm of intertwined plants. The surface is meticulously chased with intricate geometric patterns, scrollwork, and religious symbols, fully embodying the Byzantine artistic ideal of "luxury and sanctity coexisting." The layered openwork technique and three-dimensional petal forms further enhance the visually complex aesthetic effect.
