戰國至西漢 銅錯銀車馬器 一組兩件
These bronze chariot fittings are of a uniform cylindrical form, hollow inside. Such design not only fulfills its functional purpose but also demonstrates the ingenious craftsmanship of ancient artisans in shaping vessels. Each surface is exquisitely adorned with silver inlay. Artisans first cast or chiseled the outlines of cloud-and-thunder patterns onto the bronze surface. Silver filaments were then skilfully embedded into these intricately carved grooves. After the inlay was completed, the surface was refined through delicate polishing to achieve a smooth, even finish. The interplay between the silver filigree and bronze base creates a stunningly intricate and layered presentation of the cloud-and-thunder patterns across the vessel's surface. The densely patterned cloud-and-thunder design not only imbues this chariot fittings with a splendid and enigmatic artistic beauty, but also reflects the exceptional craftsmanship of the era and the unique understanding and pursuit of decorative motifs and vessel aesthetics of the artisans. Every intricate detail of the pattern highlights their ingenuity and skillful heritage.
此組車馬器由青銅精心打造而成，整體造型呈規整的圓柱體形態，器身內部中空，這種結構設計既符合其作為車馬器在功能上的需求，又展現出古人在器物造型把握上的巧妙構思。其表面運用了精湛的錯銀工藝進行裝飾，在工藝實施過程中，工匠們先在青銅器表面預先鑄出或鏨刻出雲雷紋的紋路輪廓，隨後將銀絲嵌入這些精心雕琢好的凹槽之內，待嵌入工序完成後，再借助細膩的打磨工藝讓器物表面達到平整光滑的效果，銀絲與青銅基底相互映襯，使得雲雷紋以一種極為精美且富有層次感的方式呈現於器物表面。佈滿的雲雷紋不僅為這件車馬器增添了華麗且神秘的藝術美感，更從側面反映出當時高超的工藝水準以及古人對於紋飾裝飾和器物美學的獨特理解與追求，每一處紋路的細節處理都彰顯著古代工匠們的匠心獨運與技藝傳承。
