Zhao Zhao, born in 1982 in Xinjiang, is one of the representative "Post-80s" contemporary Chinese artists. His artistic creations are diverse, covering painting, installation, photography, and performance art, often examining contemporary Chinese social conditions and the relationship between the individual and the collective from a critical perspective. Zhao Zhao was once an assistant in Ai Weiwei's studio and is known in the art world for his radical and non-mainstream spirit in his works.

The Sky series by Zhao Zhao is a pivotal body of work in which he consistently portrays variations of the blue sky, using primarily Prussian blue—a deep blue pigment—to create a pure and expansive visual field. The sky in this series is not merely a backdrop but becomes the subject itself, symbolizing the intersection of time and space. It echoes the rich history of the sky as an art motif, loaded with layers of religious, emotional, and political meanings.

趙趙生於1982年新疆，是中國當代具代表性的「80後」藝術家之一。他的藝術創作多元，涵蓋繪畫、裝置、攝影及行為藝術，常以批判性的角度審視中國當代社會狀況以及個人與集體之間的關係。趙趙曾是艾未未的工作室助理，在藝術界以其激進且具有非主流精神的作品聞名。

趙趙的「天空」系列是其持續超過十年的重要創作題材。該系列透過普魯士藍（一種深藍色調）作為唯一色彩，以不同筆觸和形態描繪天空的多樣面貌，從而呈現一個超脫於具體故事背景之外的純淨舞台。天空在這些作品中不僅是繪畫的背景，更成為主體，象徵著時間與空間的交錯，亦是藝術史中一個被反覆引用的意象，承載著宗教、情感及政治等多重意涵。
