"The beauty of the region shapes a person and makes him surrender to its charm. In the Asir region, whether it is inside the houses or outside in nature, everything is visual art..."

Born in Abha, Saudi Arabia, in 1953, Saud Al Qahtani trained as an art educator before focusing on painting, sculpture, and architectural design. A pioneer of murals in Saudi Arabia, he also established the country's first amateur art studio in 1977. Al Qahtani's work celebrates Saudi landscapes, blending vibrant colours and dynamic brushwork. He designed architectural projects like the Abha Airport bridge and has exhibited widely, including in Damascus, Bahrain, and the UK, showcasing his deep engagement with nature, culture, and regional heritage.
