Two Sevres cups and saucers, circa 1761

Gobelet 'Hébert' et soucoupe of the second size, and possibly gobelet 'couvert' et soucoupe of the first size, each painted by François-Joseph Aloncle with a bird in a landscape vignette, below a border of gilt and blue trellis panels alternating with flower sprigs enclosed by gilt scrollwork, gilt dentil borders to the rims,, the cups: 6.2cm and 6.7cm high; the saucers: 13.4cm and 13.3cm across interlaced LL monograms, enclosing on the gobelet 'Hébert' et soucoupe the date letter H, painter's mark N in blue to both, incised marks (4)
