A Sèvres plate (assiette à godron), dated 1770

Painted by Bertrand with scattered rose sprays in the well enclosed by a gilt-edged band of scrolling roses, the rim with a band of blue drapery swags heightened in gilding and with gilt tassels, gilt dentil border to rim, 24.1cm diam., interlaced LL monogram enclosing date letter R in blue, painter's mark for Bertrand, incised CT (minor wear to gilt edge of rim)
