A Sèvres green-ground cup and saucer (gobelet 'Hébert' et soucoupe), dated 1763

Of the second size, reserved with panels painted by Étienne Evans with birds in landscapes within gilt frames, edged on the saucer with flowers and foliage, the cup with a gilt line across the back below the handle entwined with foliage, gilt dentil borders to the rims, the cup: 6.1cm high; the saucer: 13.5cm across, interlaced LL monograms enclosing date letter k in blue to both, painter's mark for Evans to saucer, incised marks (haircrack to rim of cup, minor losses to gilding on saucer) (2)
