Léonard Gébleux (1883-1929) was employed at the Sèvres manufactory as a decorator and later as a chef des ateliers de décoration. This vase entered tgether with a similar one in the Magazin de Vente on 22 October 1902 as 'deux vases d'Angers, 1ere B., 'Gui', gravure pâtes et insufflation'. The price of manufacture was 1320ff., and the sale price was 2000ff.
