Manuscrit sur peau de vélin de la fin du XVe siècle (c.1470-1490) de cent trente feuillets en un volume in-8, basane fauve marbrée encadrement de dentelle dorée entre filets, dos orné de même, tranches dorées ciselées, fermoirs.
Reliure de la fin du XIXe siècle.
Beau et précieux livre d'heures dont les miniatures peuvent être attribuées au Maître de Prélats Bourguignons.Il débute par un calendrier, puis suivent les habituelles prières et psaumes. En fin de volume l'une d'elle est en français.
Mais tout le grand intérêt de ces Heures réside dans la présence de dix-neuf très belles miniatures d'une grande qualité de finesse et d'exécution.

Toutes ces pièces sont d'une très grande fraîcheur de couleur et d'une beauté remarquable. Le texte est émaillé de nombreuses capitales à l'or fin et couleur et d'intéressantes bordures avec rinceaux, fleurs et feuillages d'une grande qualité. Quelques feuillets sont un peu courts dans la marge supérieure, quelques infimes petites taches, volume en partie dérelié.

A beautiful and precious book of hours whose miniatures can be attributed to the Master of the Burgundian Prelates, beginning with a calendar, followed by the usual prayers and psalms. At the end of the volume, one of them is in French.
But the great interest of these Hours lies in the presence of nineteen very beautiful miniatures of great finesse and execution.

All these pieces are very fresh in colour and remarkably beautiful. The text is enamelled with numerous capitals in fine gold and colour and interesting borders with scrolls, flowers and foliage of great quality. Some leaves a little short in the upper margin, a few tiny stains, volume partly unbound.
