The Rococo style leaf-cast silver case with folding handle and hinged back door raised on paw feet, enclosing a circular 1.5 inch Roman dial with finely cut blued steel hands, signed to the centre Breguet, No 2559. The eight-day spring-driven movement with lever platform escapement, striking the hours and half hours on a gong, fitted with an enamel alarm dial and signed to the back plate Breguet, No 2559 and separately numbered 8428 . Presented in its original signed and numbered leather case along with the original silvered winding key. Currently ticking. 12cms (4.5 inches) high.
