The case surmounted by a simple carrying handle over a large bevelled glass observation window, the one-piece case cast with decorative detail throughout and terminating in a heavily decorated cast base. The 2.5in. white enamel dial with Roman numerals and Breguet-style blued steel hands, signed to the lowest section Jules, Paris. The twin-train movement with a jewelled "Jules" platform escapement and helical hairspring, striking the hours and half-hours via a countwheel mounted to the backplate, signed Jules, Paris and numbered 101. Offered together with the original leather-bound travel case. Currently ticking and striking. 18cms (7ins) high.
