The case with triangular pediment and concave-moulded hood above a long trunk door with moulded-edge to a panelled base. The 10-inch square silvered dial signed to the centre William Hill, London, with outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and hour divisions. The eight-day weight-driven movement with tapering plates united by five knopped pillars, with six-spoke wheelwork throughout to a deadbeat escapement and steel-rod pendulum with heavy lenticular brass-faced bob, sold with a single brass-clad weight. Currently ticking. 2.06cms (6.75ins) high.
