Footnotes

Provenance
Stephen Wirtz Gallery, San Francisco
Acquired from the above by the present owner in 1986

OVERALL CONDITION: This gelatin silver print with margins is in generally excellent condition. The following are visible upon examination under raking light: scattered tiny deposits of original retouching; and a thin, nearly imperceptible linear impression in the lower center portion of the image. The margin edges are very gently worn, and the upper left margin corner is torn.

On the reverse, '62' has been written in an unidentified hand in pencil. There is a thin strip of adhesive at the upper edge, and two overlaying hinge remnants. Sold framed.
