One of rectangular form with a hinged fall front opening to a fitted interior with compartments, a hidden push-release drawer at the base, raised on a stand with shaped brackets, bearing a brass label engraved "G. Betjemann & Sons, London," ht. 26, wd. 18 3/4, dp. 12 1/2 in.;
the other a rectangular traveling writing desk with brass strapping and escutcheon, the hinged top opening to a fitted interior with compartments and a fold-out blue velvet writing surface, with brass hinges and recessed side carrying handles, raised on a later fitted stand with cross stretcher, ht. 24 1/4, wd. 20 1/2, dp. 12 1/4 in.
