AN ORIBE-STYLE "NANBAN" CANDLE STAND AND TWO ANDONZARA (LANTERN OIL DISHES)

Meiji (1868-1912) or Taisho (1912-1926) era, late 19th/early 20th century
Candle stand in the form of a Portuguese trader, late Oribe style; an oribe-syle lantern oil dish after Kitaoji Rosanjin, bearing signature Ro; with a tomobako storage box inscribed Oribe andonzara and bearing signature Rosanjin; and a small Oribe-stye oil lantern oil dish with circular reserves.
12in (30.5cm) height of tallest (3, Japanese boxes).
