TWO SHAKUDŌ AND GOLD KISERU (PIPES) AND A SHAKUDŌ AND SILVER KISERU (PIPE)
Meiji (1868-1912) or Taisho (1912-1926) era, late 19th/ 20th century
Comprising a shakudō pipe formed as a stalk of bamboo, incised on the body with a stalk of young bamboo, the leaves in flush-inlaid silver, with an illegible seal;
A shakudō and bamboo pipe worked on the surface to resemble tooled leather with three buttons in flush-inlaid gold, the bowl and mouthpiece gold;
A slender silver pipe of faceted section decorated with a spiral design of flush-inlaid shakudō
8in (20.3cm) long, the largest (3).
