A Rare .44 Percussion Colt Second Model Dragoon Single-Action Six-Shot Revolver
No. 9764 For 1851

With round sighted barrel with New-York City adddress along the top flat partially obscured by later back-sight, cylinder originally roll-engraved with Texas Ranger and Indian fight scene, frame indistinctly stamped 'Colt's Patent' on the left side, rammer, brass square-back trigger-guard and back-strap, figured rounded grips, and matching numbers, including on the rammer
