An Indian Tulwar
Early 19th Century

With earlier curved watered steel blade fullered along both sides over most of its length, the forte on one side struck with dotted marks, brass hilt gold-damascened overall with flowering foliage against a gold ground (some rubbing and losses), knuckle-guard, and horse-head pommel, in later velvet-covered wooden scabbard
