A Brazilian Officer's Sword
19th Century

With slightly curved pipe-back blade, the forte etched along one side with a martial trophy, foliage, and the arms of the Second Empire of Brazil, and on the other en suite and with crowned 'PII ⁰' cypher, regulation hilt, lion-head pommel and back-piece in one, and wire-bound fishskin-covered grip
