A Cased Pair Of 25-Bore Flintlock Duelling Pistols

Reconverted from percussion, with swamped rebrowned twist octagonal sighted barrels each signed along the top flat, foliate engraved tangs each incorporating the back-sight, re-engraved flat locks, safety-catches, figured full stocks with flat-sided butts, steel mounts (old pitting) comprising foliate engraved butt-caps, trigger-guards each with acorn finial and decorated with a flower-head on the bow, turned ramrod-pipes, vacant silver escutcheons (replaced) on the side flats, set triggers, and later bone-tipped ramrods: in later lined and fitted mahogany case with some accessories including brass-mounted three-way powder-flask, the exterior of the lid with folding brass carrying handle, London proof marks and Wogdon's barrelsmith's mark
