A Pair Of 18-Bore Flintlock Duelling Pistols
By P. Bond, 45 Cornhill & Lombard St., London, Circa 1800

With octagonal sighted barrels each engraved with maker's address along the top flat, foliate engraved tangs, signed flat locks (one action defective) each engraved with a starburst on the stepped tail, figured full stocks (one with repaired chip behind the tail of the lock), trigger-guards each with pineapple finial, turned ramrod-pipes, and horn-tipped wooden ramrods, one with iron worm, London proof marks and Philip Bond's barrelsmith's mark (2)
