The Lock By W. Bond, London, Early 19th Century, London Silver Hallmarks For 1781, Maker's Mark Of Michael Barnett

With rebrowned sighted barrel engraved 'W. Bond London' (engraving refreshed) along the top flat, foliate engraved tang, flat border engraved lock signed in capitals and decorated with a starburst behind the pan, engraved safety-catch, roller, figured full stock (fore-end tip with minor repairs) with flat-sided butt, cast and chased mounts comprising pierced trophy of arms side-plate, trigger-guard with acorn finial and decorated with a flower-head on the bow, turned ramrod-pipes, and horn-tipped ramrod with steel worm, London proof marks
