A 16-Bore Flintlock Officer's Pistol
By Stevens, 43 High Holborn, London, Circa 1820

With rebrowned twist sighted barrel (old pitting) signed in full along the top flat and decorated with a line of beadwork at the breech, foliate engraved tang incorporating the back-sight, signed border engraved flat lock decorated with foliage, engraved safety-catch, roller, figured full stock with chequered rounded butt, steel trigger-guard with pineapple finial and decorated with a flower-head on the border engraved bow, vacant silver escutcheon, white-metal fore-end cap, and stirrup ramrod, Birmingham proof marks
