Late 19th/Early 20th Century

With bright tapering blade notched and fullered along the back, double-edged at the point and etched at the forte on one side 'Gorden. Maker London.' and over both sides with foliage and thistles, ebonised baluster grip carved with basketweave set with white-metal studs on the outside, the pommel carved in the round as a thistle-head and set with a faceted piece of foiled glass in a white-metal mount embossed and chased with foliage and thistles, basal mount en suite, in original leather-covered scabbard with white-metal mounts embossed and chased with thistles, the by-knife and fork en suite with the dirk
