With browned octagonal sighted barrel engraved 'LONDON' along the top flat, breech decorated with two white-metal lines, foliate engraved tang, border engraved back-action lock decorated with foliate scrollwork, figured full stock with chequered rounded butt, trigger-guard engraved with foliage on the bow, belt hook, white-metal barrel-bolt escutcheon, and stirrup ramrod, Birmingham proof marks
