With octagonal sighted barrel signed in full along the top flat and with an engraved band around the muzzle, serial numbered cylinder with angled nipples, border engraved action decorated with scrolling foliage on one side, side-hammer en suite (nose chipped, safety-stop incomplete), patent rack and pinion rammer, foliate scroll engraved trigger guard, butt cap with hinged circular scroll engraved butt-trap cover, chequered saw-handled figured rounded butt, and refinished overall, London proof marks
