No. 15159, Mid-19th century

With octagonal sighted barrel, top flat with indistinct retailer's details, cylinder with knurled forward edge, border engraved frame decorated with scrolling foliage, patent rammer and trigger, sprung safety-stop, arbor pin and catch, chequered rounded butt, and the whole excepting the arbor pin, rammer and trigger reblued: in later lined and fitted case with accessories including powder-flask and brass bullet-mould, the exterior with vacant brass escutcheon, Birmingham proof marks
