signed Chevalier, made for the British market, with folding gnomon, three hour scales and top plate with foliate scrolls, the reverse with list of twelve British cities and towns including Bath, Shrewsbury and Canterbury, when closed 1.1 x 5 x 6.6cm (1/2 x 2 x 2 1/2in)
