signed Le Febure A Paris, the octagonal dial with folding gnomon and swan indictor, silvered compass bowl engraved with four cardinal points, hours scales for 50, 45 and 40 degrees, reverse with nineteen towns and latitudes, the dial when closed 1 x 6 x 6.6cm (1/4 x 2 1/4 x 2 5/8in)
