Footnotes

"Ginger III" is from the Duke of Buccleuch's "Dandie I" line. She was whelped on 7 January 1879 to "Gyp II" and sired by "Doctor". Bred by Mr J. Locke of The Parsonage, Selkirk, and owned by Mr Charles Cook. Mr Cook said of "Ginger III":

'Pretty little bitch, about 18 lbs. Game at rats and once entered at fox when she showed great courage.'
